Refund policy

At Go2buy Australia, we want you to shop with confidence. Our policy complies with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) and the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) guidelines.

Consumer Guarantees

Under the ACL, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund if a product you purchase:

  • is faulty or unsafe,

  • does not match the description or sample shown, or

  • does not perform as expected.

These rights apply regardless of our store’s own change-of-mind policy.

Change of Mind Returns

We offer a 30-day change-of-mind return policy. This means you may request a return within 30 days of receiving your item, provided that:

  • the item is in its original condition (unused, unworn, with tags, and in original packaging),

  • you provide proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation), and

  • the item is not in the list of non-returnable goods below.

Costs & Restocking

  • Customers are responsible for paying return shipping costs for change-of-mind returns.

  • A restocking fee of $15 or 20% of the product price (whichever is higher) will apply if the item is not returned in resaleable condition (e.g., damaged packaging, missing parts, or signs of use).

If your return is accepted, we will provide instructions and a return shipping label if applicable. Items sent back without prior approval will not be accepted.

Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order upon arrival and contact us immediately at sales@go2buy.com.au if your item is defective, damaged, or incorrect. We will evaluate the issue and arrange a replacement, repair, or refund as required by law.

Non-Returnable Items

For safety, hygiene, or customisation reasons, the following items cannot be returned:

  • perishable goods (e.g., food, plants),

  • earplugs, headphones, and other in-ear or hygiene-sensitive items,

  • personal care and beauty products,

  • custom or personalised products,

  • hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases,

  • gift cards and sale/clearance items.

If you’re unsure whether your item qualifies, please contact us before returning.

Exchanges

The fastest way to exchange is to return your original item (if eligible) and place a new order for the replacement.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the outcome. If approved, refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please note that your bank or card provider may take additional time to clear the funds.

If more than 15 business days have passed since your refund was approved and you have not received it, please contact us at sales@go2buy.com.au.
